Sage Wholesale and B2B Return Policy
Products sold by Sage, including computer equipment and peripherals, are warranted for 90 days to the original Buyer from the date of invoicing. This warranty is non-transferable, and governed by the following terms and conditions:
Warranty
The Sage Merchandise Limited Warranty applies to any product that is not as explicitly advertised by specification from Sage. Unless stated on the Sage sales invoice or sales agreement, all equipment is sold in working condition. All equipment is sold as used, unless otherwise specified by “S” condition, which is sealed new in box product. Evidence of normal wear and tear will be visible. Except as stated on the accepted offer or sales invoice using the condition codes in Exhibit B, no warranty is made as to the equipment’s cosmetic condition. No warranty is made concerning the equipment’s suitability for a particular purpose, or its compatibility with other hardware or software. Operating systems software, and in some cases hardware-specific software drivers, are necessary for the operation of computers and peripherals, and are sold separately unless otherwise noted. It is the Buyer’s responsibility to purchase and install a licensed operating system (unless an installed operating system was sold with the product) and any required drivers.
Acceptance
Buyer has 90 days following its receipt to notify Sage of discrepancies noted, either in quantity or condition.
Process
Buyer has 90 days to provide notice of a warranty claim to Sage. It is the Buyer’s responsibility to notify Sage of defective equipment within the warranty period, including the serial number and a description of the problem. Sage may require return of the defective product prior to providing recourse, and will reimburse Buyer for reasonable freight charges for all merchandise found to be defective. Upon determination that merchandise is defective, Sage will, at its option, issue a refund or replace the product at no charge. Sage may elect to credit or return the original purchase price of that product to the Buyer, which may be in the form of a check or a re-bill to the credit card used to make the purchase. Returned product found not to be defective will be returned at Buyer’s expense, or charged a 15% or $6 restocking fee per item, whichever is greater.
Limitation of Liability
Sage’s liability under this warranty is limited to the sale price of the equipment warranted. Sage is not responsible for any damages, expense, lost profits, lost savings, damage to or replacement of equipment and property, alteration or loss of software programs, operating systems, or data stored on equipment sent in for repair, upgrade or replacement, or costs of recovering, reprogramming, or reproducing any program or data stored in or used with the products, or other damages arising out of the use or inability to use the products.
Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Warranties
OEM warranties are not guaranteed or supported through Sage, but may be enforceable directly between the Buyer and the OEM.
