Sage Condition Grades

  • CONDITION CODE S: Brand new, In OEM box, NEVER opened, factory seal has never been cut, replaced, removed or resealed.
  • CONDITION CODE O: Brand new, In OEM box with OEM packaging, box has been opened, and/or factory seal has been cut, replaced, removed or resealed.
  • CONDITION CODE A (Excellent): Equipment is used, tested operational, good cosmetic condition, complete with all required plastics, adapters & cables, and may be refurbished.
  • CONDITION CODE B (Good): Equipment is used, tested operational, may have minor cosmetic flaws, complete with all required plastics, adapters & cables, and may be refurbished.
  • CONDITION CODE C (Fair): Equipment is used, tested, operational, may have major cosmetic flaws not effecting functionality, may have minor screen flaws, missing plastics covers, faceplates, case cracks, etc. that don’t expose direct contact to any circuit boards and/or electrical ports or outlets.
  • CONDITION CODE V: Equipment is in good cosmetic condition but has no market value and is routed to recycling.
  • CONDITION CODE D: Asset is physically damaged beyond repair.
  • CONDITION CODE U: Equipment is untested, client contract specific. Devices held for redeployment.
  • CONDITION CODE F: Equipment failed operational test or was cosmetically destroyed, and could not be economically repaired.
  • INCOMPLETE CODES: A-I, B-I, C-I: Asset graded based on Cosmetic A,B,C, but is missing a component. i.e. Battery, AC Adapter (standard power cords/VGA not considered as missing components)
  • LOCKED DEVICES CODE L: Asset that has a password lock on it that Sage is unable to remove at time of assigning the disposition.
